Children's Sports Festival
Over 70 children from Trincomalee and Nattandiya took part in the Children's Sports Festival held at the Sports School, Nattandiya from July 22 to 24, 2011.
The children from the main communities Sinhalese, Tamils and Muslims took part in Swimming, Table Tennis, Volleyball and Football during the three day event.
The festival was organized by the Asian German Sports Exchange Programme to bring about friendship and understanding between the children of the three communities with Bjorn Simon of Germany as the main co-ordinator of the festival.
